Mission Partners
Christ Church Heiloo currently supports six mission partners.
All for Africa’s Children Today in Lesotho (Pulane Children’s Centre)
Pulane Children’s Centre lies in the foot hills of Lesotho, Southern Africa. The Centre is home to over 50 children, who rely on PCC for a safe and loving home. The children are all from the surrounding areas, and while they still attend school in the local communities, they receive meals, clothing, food as well as loving care from the staff at PCC.
PCC was founded in 2008 by Jill Kinsey and Grant Strugnell. You can read more about the history here.
Intercontinental Church Society (ICS), UK
ICS is an international Church of England mission agency: making known the good news of Jesus Christ to English-speakers living, studying, working or holidaying away from home in countries where English is not the main language. ICS works mainly in continental Europe and around the Mediterranean. It is funded entirely by donations from individuals, churches and trusts that share its aims.
Open Doors, Ermelo, NL
Open Doors supports persecuted and threatened Christians in over 60 countries, through providing Bibles, Christian literature, training, livelihood skills and advocacy. Their aim is to keep the light of the world shining in some of the darkest places on earth. In the words of their founder Brother Andrew, “The work of the church is not survival. She exists to fulfil the Great Commission. Her work is making disciples of all nations.” To enable this Open Doors educates Christians in the free world, seeking to motivate them to identify with threatened and persecuted Christians in praying for and actively helping them.
De Herikon, Putten, NL
The Herikon is an interdenominational and evangelical organization that aims to strengthen disciples of Jesus Christ and Churches through evangelism, education and training. They are the Dutch branch of BCM International, a global mission organization.
