Workshops

Quoash Painting Workshop
Run by Caitlin and Laura Forster

Painting an apple? That's something I can manage—a red circle with a green leaf, right? But how can you make it more interesting? During the Quoash Painting Workshop, Caitlin and Laura will help you explore the versatile and playful medium of quoash, infusing vibrant colour to transform a fruit bowl into a lively piece of art. No experience is needed—just come ready to enjoy a light-hearted session of painting something uniquely yours.

Parenting & Education Workshop
Run by Lizbee Forster

Parenting is a beautiful (and sometimes overwhelming) journey. This is what Lizbee, our educational psychologist with a post-master’s degree in psychology, is here for. In this workshop, she will share the insights she has gained along the way. Together, you'll explore how faith and child-rearing go hand in hand. Whether you're navigating the Dutch school system, wondering about child development, or just looking for practical parenting tips, this workshop is for you! Come with your questions, challenges, and curiosity.

Going Round in Circles
Run by Coosje Brouwer and Lia Geurts

Want to create something beautiful with your hands? This is the workshop for you! In this workshop you will be going round in circles, but it will most definitely be a fun experience. At the end, you'll have created your own work of art, using only a needle, some thread, and a few bits of fabric.

Eat This Book Workshop
Run by Jo Frost

Jo Frost, our Women's Day speaker, will take you through different ways of reading, meditating on, and engaging with Scripture. This workshop will be all about entering into a conversation with God through His word.

Worshipful Songwriting: Connecting with God Through Song
Run by Annabel Christenson

In this workshop, we will dive deep into the heart of worship and songwriting. We’ll explore the true essence of worship, what it means beyond music, and how we can apply this to practice worshipful living. You will also practice songwriting. Annabel will provide you with tools to write songs from a framework of melody, poetry, and theology. Whether you're a worship leader or an aspiring songwriter, this workshop will equip you to create with freedom and purpose.

When Presence-Power-Purpose Seem Out of Reach
Run by Emma van der Deijl

Emma, with over 30 years of experience in overseas missions and ministry, is the CEO of Gender and Religious Freedom, member of the exec team of ARISE “Investing in women for leadership across Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and beyond”. She’s a missions’ consultant, mentor and coach. As part of OVERHOOP living community Utrecht, Emma is passionate about the global-local church and about living in community as a way of living out Jesus’ new command to love each other as he loved us.

Emma’s interactive workshop will explore lessons from the global Church about how women are pressured and held back by false beliefs from living out their full purpose.

Beeswax Workshop
Run by Monica Klumpenhower

Join Monica as she takes you on the exciting journey to learn about natural and repurposed products and how she makes them into beautiful teacup candles and sustainable beeswax food wraps. Want to give it a go?
